Selected real photos will be featured alongside the recipe with full credit given to the photographer.
Photo Submission Terms and Conditions
Thank you for considering submitting your photos to feature on our recipe blog. To ensure a smooth and fair process, please review the following terms and conditions carefully before submitting your images:
1. Grant of Rights
By submitting a photo, you confirm that you are the sole owner or have full rights to the image and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute the photo on our blog and related platforms indefinitely. This includes use in digital, print, and promotional materials.
2. Attribution
Attribution will be provided exclusively on the individual recipe page where the photo is featured as the main image. When the photo appears elsewhere on our website (such as search results, archive pages, category listings, or thumbnail previews) or on external platforms (search engines, social media previews, etc.), no credit line will be displayed due to space and technical limitations.
3. No Monetary Compensation
Photo submissions are accepted on a voluntary basis. The only form of compensation is the credit given to you as the image owner. No monetary payment or other compensation will be provided.
4. Content Guidelines
- Photos must be original and your own work
- Images should be high-quality, well-lit, and showcase the recipe clearly
- Photos must clearly represent the specific recipe as written on our site
- Minimum resolution of 1200px on the longest side
- No watermarks, logos, or promotional content are allowed on the photo
- Photos must not infringe on any third-party rights or contain any inappropriate or offensive content
- Variations or substitutions should be noted in submission
5. Submission Limits
Limit of one photo submission per person. This policy may be updated in the future.
6. Photo Modification Rights
We reserve the right to crop, resize, or make minor color adjustments to submitted photos for optimal display and consistency with our site design.
7. No External Links
Submissions should not include embedded or visible external links within the image or metadata. We reserve the right to remove any photos that attempt to promote external websites or products.
8. Right to Refuse or Remove
We reserve the right to reject any photo submission or remove any featured image at our discretion without prior notice.
9. Removal Process
If you wish to have your featured photo removed, please contact us from the original email address used for submission with your submission details.
10. Indemnification
By submitting your photo, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless our blog and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from your submission.
11. Technical Requirements
File size up to 10MB per photo. Images will be resized to our native 800x450px format. Accepted formats: JPG or PNG.
12. Response Timeline
We will review submissions within 2-3 weeks and notify you of our decision via email.
13. Terms Updates
These terms and conditions may be updated at any time. The current terms in effect at the time of submission will apply to your photo.
